Day 56: Environment is slowly changing around me
Welp… I got the hard sell on “if you use the trail, you need to give back and do trail maintenance.”
Sure, the man was right, but geez, there is only so much hard lovin’ I can have stuffed down my throat before my gorge comes up.
Some seriously pretty hiking today. Lots of yuuuuge meadows. A gorgeous river with a lawn where the grass grows the perfect length and never been mowed…
Climbed about 3k feet to 10,580, missed a camp and boy my feet hurt. Achilles tendinitis.
I dub thee: The snowflake plant!
Found this 100 feet off trail. Was unable to pull out.
No shit Sherlock.
Tree looked like it had a cancerous tumor… Can plants get cancer?
